"To your mind, I am mad. To my mind, you are all sane. So I pray to increase my madness and to increase your sanity. My 'madness' is from the power of love; Your sanity is from the strength of unawareness." Junaid

Those who glory in the possession of gold ,weather they hoard it or squander it like rain, find no such luster at the ending of their own lives. Earth they become and of further value to none.

Absolute Truth
All those who dream of finding happiness on earth whether today or in "tomoro's gains , will find themselves alike disillusioned.
Re-calling the dark despair born of painful past experiences the voice of wisdom calls : " Fools ! never on the vast sweeps of time will you reap the Absolute Reward your soul is seeking"
"Joy will follow naturally when you live as your soul commands you"

Ignorance at its best
Man in his soul is not predestined to be either good or bad. While vice or virtue may seem inborn every human tendency in self-acquired. It is the result of individual choice.
To rationalize one’s shortcomings by such claims as “I am bad only because my destiny makes me so “ or “Stan pushed me it was his fault not mine” is to reason dangerously. Unfortunately many people take this line of argument. U Somewhere they hope, hidden in the vast, crowded ware-house of their past experiences there must exist some good excuse, some long forgotten sin committed not by them but against them; some influence before the power of they were but victims.
I modern times with psychoanalysis a subject of wide spread fascination people are conditioned to blame their problems on others treatment of them- on the cruelty or indifference of parents teachers society “ extenuating circumstances” –anything to avoid having to face the need to improve themselves.
It is mere subterfuge on the ego’s part to plead helplessness in the face of difficulties. The root causes of our problems grow out of sight in the subconscious. We put down those roots ourselves by wrong deeds performed in the past. Today if any ones behave badly towards us, it is him we blame for our hurt. That we might have attracted the hurt in someway never enters in our minds.
Every circumstance in our lives, every characteristic, every habit, however much repudiated by us now, was some-thing we ourselves created, recently or in distant past. Blame no one for any evils that beset you. Accept responsibility for your own life and for whatever misfortunes you encounter. Do your best with the firm resolution to eliminate the harmful tendencies in your nature.
Only by perfect self-honesty and dynamic self-effort will you eliminate forever the influence of satanic delusion in your life. Not many people use the divine wisdom from within as a guide to live their lives- ignorance at its best!

A page from my diary
How soft is the night! as i walk along the shore of the sea , my old friend and me. The moon is pale and gigantic; it is a summer moon, an eternally quiet heavenly body. It envelops the water of the sea in a circle of silent light. Footsteps are soundless ; feet relaxing on the soft ground. Time seems to stand still....a great lonliness envelops everything .This is an exceptional moment.....
Inevitable....
Time and fate have no favorites. Impartially they thrust all men, whether late or soon in life, into the winepress of death. Some even among those we thought imperishably our own drank to the less precious draught of life then slipped away to rest in the great, silent void.

A Dream...
A dream from last night: I was sitting on a stone terrace which jutted far into the Indus in the midst of a confusion of bridges and floodgates ; the Indus however was narrower than usual held within stone dams and its water was grey as steel reminding me of strong gates whose strength is obvious in their chains. On the opposite bank, the mistly silhoutte of a giant building with domes and minarets rose directly before me. Then the fog lifted and the ediface appeared even larger than before, bigger then everything else around. It seemed there were a thousand blinking lights and blinding sunlight in the same instance. The sky however was grey and overcast. This light ,this bleaching apparation penetrated everything like radiation from flowing metal and made the edges and corners of all things glisten.I grasped it, and it was a dreamlike horror, that this stone structure surronded by graves in its greatness and magnificence equal to American sky scrapers. It was like a dawning of terror without anguish, for I saw a stone gate an open door to a wide open field and had the presentiment that behind it lay a vast realm of powerful forces-faces sounds movements-strange and dark demands which engulfed , like a wave, whoever stepped through the gate......then i awoke.
Karma
The alternating nights and days of this rotating earth, and the alternating sorrows and joys in peoples lives are like a checkerboard in multiple dimensions. The rules of the game are set by the Karma, the law of cause and effect, though often it seems to our understanding that karma or destiny merely plays with our lives.Over Eons of time ,stars and planets are moved by inscrutable law from point to point in the galaxy, the people are moved ,from lower to higher positions and back again.
Karama arranges the reunion of friends lost to one another in the dark night of death.
As chess pieces when "Captured" are removed and placed in a box so destiny when removing people from the board of life places them in secret closet or resting place of the other world.

Eternal Happiness....
Inner Bliss is its own most persuasive argument. The certainity it conveys transcends the most brilliant reasoning.Doubt when exposed to powerful bliss-rays evaporates.
Divine bliss is a subtle alchemist. It transmutates in a trice of the base metal of worldliness into the pure gold of eternal and radiant happiness.

Pakistan's Character
Some days ago a friend of mine remarked “we don’t want religion we want character”
I quite understood what he meant not withstanding the inaccuracy of the phraseology. But the antagonism that this arrangement of words suggested how ever mechanical did not please me. Any how it indicated a certain confusion of thought on these two most vital subjects to the world and Pakistan in particular. One should keep the moral judgments for a moment in suspension and look at things as they are .Character as Webster’s says “A sign or token placed upon an object as an indication of some special fact with reference to it as of ownership an origin; a trait or characterstic.specially one serving to distinguish one object from another.
This makes it clear that character of a human is not determined as is commonly supposed by qualities in common with other human beings but by a trait, feature or characteristic that distinguishes him from others.
The character of salt for example is to be savoury and to preserve things. That of sugar is to be sweet, that of velvet to be smooth. That of thorn to be pricky that of sheep to be meek. That of lion to be ferocious and dominating.
Now it can be seen that as far as their characteristics are concerned they can’t be compared. Each one is distinguished from the other and possesses a different sphere of usefuleness. As soon as any one of these loses its characteristic it can be justly said that it has lost its character.
Humans posses a different characteristic that characterizes human species as such and distinguishes them from animal and vegetable.
The characteristic called “Self consciousness” with power to form concepts. The “I” making power. In one word by ratiocination humans analyze and synthesize. IT can be seen that in human being external movement of the primitive element has reached to a climax. But much more then that a new movement has started in him too; which is complete severance with the first.
First “I” and “You” stand on the absolutely opposite poles. Later on “I” doesn’t only trace relationship with “You” but conceives and images the entire external phenomena within it. To illustrate when one thinks of an object outside him and by naming it makes it a part of him it is no further development of the external world but a new movement in contradistinction with the external manifestation of the things which for convenience can be termed as “inward movement”
Thus it can be seen that human being begins to form within himself the images of the physical world and creates the intellectual.
This marks the conjunction of the external and the internal. Later he walks deeper and deeper inward and the depth he terms spiritual.
There is continuous interaction between the intellectual physical and spiritual speheres.By mere slight permutations and combinations of these there forms different varieties of human beings come into existence. Slightest preponderance of certain elements gives rise to totally different characters. ____ And it may be said that the main characteristic of Pakistan is spirituality all other things re only means to this end but means must not be neglected. However if the means are turned into ends and that far off look and profundity that is in our blood and our birth right have been lost it will be a woeful day for Pakistan and then with tears one will have to ask “When the salt has lost its savour, with what shall it be salted?”

The Essence of Time........
So much rests on time that there could not be anything much without it. It is an integarl part of our existence, our trend setter, our fashion maker, our art of living, lifestyle, behaviour pattern.Time is our response to be challenges of living. When time presses stretches, haunts, demands, what could never be imagined ,never be expected, comeout in blazing streaks of brilliance, creativity, masterpieces.Standing on the threshold of doom, destruction, obliteration, death, when it has all but run out time generates a passion,a zeal,a zest a rage to live.Time truely creates greatness on which legends are born to rule minds and hearts of lesser mortals.Time creates history with all that passes and settles into dust, oblivion and mortality. But yet time relives ,regenerates, recreates.Time is reincarnation-the stepping
stone to a new era,a new age, harbinger of the unknown future. In the ultimate analysis the essence of time liers in our search for fulfilment. For those of us who reach the goal of fufilment contentment, salvation, bliss, time becomes a blessing.

No More!
By what presumption were we hurried down to earth? No one consulted us! and from what unknown reigions were we summarily expelled? To what distant spheres-our permission still not asked-are we all rushed off again?Oh,another and another cup of heaven's wine? In ecstasy intutionally inspired, let me wake from this insulting imposition.By what hypnosis was i persuaded to be the helpless tool of destiny? No longer will i be tossed, terror stricken, back and forth between the courts of life and death, ignorant of whys and wherefores of my existence!
